Justin Sherman, LMSW
Justin (he/him) is a therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. He specializes in supporting clients through relationship issues, life transitions, addiction, depression, and anxiety.
Therapy with Justin emphasizes the wisdom of emotions, the honoring of all parts of oneself, and the power of noticing long-held narratives and defenses. Justin's top priority is understanding his clients' experiences and supporting them in navigating challenges with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach. He is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and enjoys working with people of all races and gender expressions. Justin is committed to creating a welcoming and empathetic space where clients are encouraged to explore and grow.
Justin holds a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on mental health from The University of Denver. He is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which focus on increasing emotional flexibility, understanding inner dynamics, and fostering meaningful change. Justin is currently working toward certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based method that supports individuals and couples in deepening emotional connections and improving relationship patterns.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Justin spent two years as a public education teacher and nearly a decade in healthcare consulting and management.
Outside of the office, Justin enjoys playing basketball, mountain biking, learning the saxophone, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter as they grow together as a family.
Justin offers therapy in-person and via Telehealth using a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform. He is available Monday through Friday. His session rates are $180 for 50 minutes and $270 for 75 minutes.
