Rates

Therapy Tailored to You.

Our goal is to provide accessible, high-quality therapy that meets your needs.

Our rates are based on the therapist's experience level, with options starting at $80 for a 50-minute session with a Graduate Intern and going up to $250 for a 50-minute session with Nancy Brittain, LCSW, an EFT Supervisor and the founder of CTC.

We offer 50, 75, and 100 minute therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families. Most individual therapy will be 50 minutes, most couples sessions will be 75, and Discernment Counseling sessions will be 100 minutes. Your therapist will work with you to recommend the session length that is right for you.

We accept payment via cash, check, HSA or FSA, and all major credit cards, due at the time of service.

Insurance & Payment Information

While we don’t accept insurance, we are happy to provide you with monthly superbills for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Insurance reimbursement varies by provider, so we recommend you contact your insurance company to confirm what they cover, as we cannot guarantee reimbursement. If you plan to use your out-of-network benefits, please let us know before or during your first session so we can discuss the details.

What is a Superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt we provide for your therapy sessions, which includes the correct codes and information needed to submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.

Note: Services provided by Graduate Interns may not be fully eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Financial Assistance

We understand that therapy can be a financial commitment. To help, we offer a limited number of lower-fee slots for clients with financial need. If you are seeking a reduced rate, please indicate this on your contact form, and we’ll discuss options on a case-by-case basis.

How to Check Your Out-of-Network Benefits

Some insurance plans offer out-of-network (OON) benefits, allowing you to see therapists who are not in-network and still receive reimbursement. Here’s some tips to find out if your plan offers this option:

  1. Call the number on the back of your insurance card.

  2. Ask if you have out-of-network (OON) benefits.

  3. If yes, ask what percentage of the cost they’ll reimburse (typically 50-80%).

  4. Inquire whether you need to meet your deductible first, and what that amount is.

  5. Ask if you can submit superbills online via their client portal.

Cost-Effective Strategies for Therapy

We understand that the cost of therapy can often feel overwhelming. To help you navigate this challenge, we've compiled some valuable tips and strategies to make therapy more accessible:

  • Consider a Graduate-Level Intern: Many training programs offer high-quality services at reduced rates.

  • Utilize Your FSA/HSA: Take advantage of your Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account to cover therapy costs.

  • Explore Out-of-Network Benefits: Check if you can submit claims for reimbursement through your insurance plan.

  • Adjust Your Session Frequency: Discuss with your therapist whether it would be appropriate to meet biweekly instead of weekly to help manage expenses.

By implementing these strategies, you can make therapy more affordable and sustainable for your needs.
